Fast and Quaint. First show up and order with a friendly host, Catrina. Unsure what to order so she turned us onto the special that had plenty of food. Order came out quickly and had green tomatoes which were good, OK coleslaw, good catfish, regular fries, fresh raw onion, brown beans that was free of seasoning. Sweet Tea was decent and had free refill! A good one timer.

Good catfsh, no service.. Good food, however, no drink refills, or friendly service. I felt like an unwelcomed stranger. Will never be back regardless of good food.
Great catfish always fresh and tasty, love those pickled green tomatoes and the bowl of beans. Life is always better when I can stop in for lunch here and get filled up when visiting the area of Ark.On a scale of 1 – 10 this place gets a 8+ for food, service and price.
Great comfort food. If you like fried catfish and hush puppies, this is your place. The food is always consistent and the prices are reasonable. Casual atmosphere with some old time country music in the background. Try the brown beans…they are great.
Good fish, Fast. The fish filets are normal size fried to golden perfection. There’s a good amount of meat per each filet. The hush puppies are large and have a perfect crispy shell with a buttery inside. Great taste. Bowl of brown beans were adequate size to share for two people. Tasted great. You walk into the restaurant and place your order before you choose your own table. The cashier was very polite and answered all our questions about each meal size. The number of filets for each meal size are not listed on the menu.Catfish John makes his rounds during dinner time, making conversation with what appear to be regulars. We live near a Fayetteville catfish icon, yet pass by on our way to find better fish.
Wonderful! You walk in and order, pick your table, and food is there in about 5 minutes. Hush puppies and beans are delicious. Catfish is cooked to perfection and plentiful. Definitely a wonderful local joint.
