Great food!. Stopped here for first time. Food is great! Prices great! Service very good and friendly. Busy tonight so they’re a little backed up at cash register, but I’ll definitely be back. Pork tamal and steak pupusa were both excellent!
We went there for a late lunch, on the recommendation of the cable guy. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience, very nice server, and delicious food unlike anything we’ve had elsewhere. Could not believe how inexpensive it was and we were stuffed. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!
Horrible Service!! Expect to wait 30 min for your food…My friend introduced Pupuseria #1 to me over a year ago. Pupusas are now one of my favorite foods. I’ve eaten pupusas from there almost once a week or more for an entire year and never had a problem with my orders until a month ago. I used to call in my order them drive there and it was ready in 10-15min. Now they mess up my order EVERY time and I drive there and they haven’t even started my order. People come in after me and get their food before I do. I have to wait a minimum of 30min every time, I’ve had to wait an Hour even!!! And they’ve never acknowledged the inconvenience or given me any discounts because they can’t speak a word of English. If they treat a Loyal Patron like tis, Beware New-Comers!
Eat Cheap. 2 papusas and a soda for $3.76, I wish they had not moved to the far side of Rogers.
We usually stop and get papusa’s to go every couple weeks or so. Always good.
Very interesting food. I had the Bistec Salvadoreno. Thin tender meat with beans and rice covered in a sauce that is unbelievably delicious. This is a very clean restaurant with an owner that is eager to please. Prices are very reasonable. This is a great place for those seeking something a bit different.
Real, delicious, inexpensive food.. I had a shrimp (Camaron) Pupusa that was fantastic, a Pupusa Revuelta (Beans, cheese, and pork) that was very good, and Yuca Frita, or fried Yucca plant with a piece of pork fat (chicharron). If you have never tried yucca before, (I hadn’t), you definitely should; it was breaded and fried and had the texture and taste of a potato, but even better. This place is incredibly cheap, too. Each pupusa is a very good size and doesn’t cost more than $1.25 on average, and most other things on the menu are very inexpensive. I will definitely be making the trip to Rogers soon to try as many things as I can on the menu because this place is great.
