This place is amazing. The service is amazing, Karla took our order and she was so sweet and very helpful. I got the Bao Tofu and it was so crunchy and great flavor, the shrimp chips are wonderful, they have a creamy flavor, its weird that a chip can have a creamy flavor, I liked them so much I got an order to go!!! I also got the Pho Ga that was on special, I’ve gotten Pho at Pho Thanh in Bentonville, and this was so much better, the chicken was so juicy and tender, not dry at all. My husband got a bowl with the lemongrass chicken, white rice and a fried egg, the chicken was tender and moist with good flavor. We then split fried Bao Ice Cream, with green tea and mango ice cream, the flavor was great and creamy, the fried bao was heavenly, fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I HIGHLY recommend this place, and if you get assisted by Karla and its your first time you are in great hands, we will defiantly be back.
A hidden gem in Rogers with delicious food! The Pho was among the best I have ever had. The Wagyu beef was simply melt in your mouth and a treat that you get to cook it on a hot lava rock at your very table. My only negatives on this place it that you have to stand to order like McDonald’s which I abhor at a casual dining restaurant. While they have a decent selection of booze they lacked a knowledgeable bartender that didn’t even know how to serve Absinthe nor possess a blender to make frozen daiquiri’s. They would have 5 stars from me if those negatives didn’t exist. Edit to add: I have ordered the Wagyu beef hot rock dish twice since this review and they were out of wagyu both times. It’s a big pet peeve of mine to order something multiple times and it’s not available. If you are going to put it on the menu then you need to have it available. It’s bad business period! I have dropped their rate to 3.5 stars from 4 because of this.
Creative dishes with authentic tastes. We have taken several out-of-town guests and it has gotten rave reviews. We start off with the calamari every time.
I generally prefer authentic ethnic foods over reimagined or fusion style but Saiwok keeps enough legit ingredients to make their modern interpretations shine. The Salt & Pepper Chili Calamari had good crunch and abundant flavor with a tame bite. The Summer Rolls were fantastic and the Hoisin Peanut Sauce was perfect especially accompanied by the chili sauce. The Tofu Bao was good. The Tofu was amazing, the bun a bit too thick but fresh. The Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi was very good with the chicken being the real star. The Saiwok Bowls are large and quite a bargain. Saw a full bar for adult beverages but did not see coconut water or Vietnamese coffee offered, just the usual fountain drinks. The space is new, clean and modern thou I’m not a walk-up counter fan. Service was good and quick with Summer Rolls arriving within minutes and the rest of our dishes following as completed not sitting waiting for the remaining order to be completed before serving, nice touch. Price for portion and quality is great.
This place is is amazing. Easily one of the top 5 places to eat in NWA. It’s a twice a week addiction. Order the Brussel sprout app !!!!!! They are veggie candy greatness BGS
Tried this for the first time the other day and wasn’t let down. Got the Pho Bo which was very good. Had hints of savory, but also came back with some bitter notes as well. The beef was thin sliced and tender. Reminded me of the Pho I had in Ho Chi Min City although it wasn’t quite as good. Also got the fresh spring rolls. Was slightly less impressed by those. Too much bitter for my taste, but the meats inside were good.
Great food, fun atmosphere! We will definitely come back. Staff was very helpful in explaining items on menu and making recommendations!
