First visit here based on great reviews from friends. You walk in and order at the register. This is a challenge for those that havent eaten much Vietnamese like myself and those ahead of us. I think giving people time to review the menu and asking questions of a server would work better. Once we ordered food started arriving in waves. We also ordered cocktails from the bar (you have to go to the bar to order also) and the drinks were great. The dumplings were very good and fresh. The grilled meatball bowl was excellent and a beautiful bowl as well. I also had a small bowl of soup- and it was huge – which had a great flavor. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Saiwok Vietnamese is a restaurant which took me by surprise. I visited this restaurant with minimal expectations and was blown away by the quality of food served and the excellent service. I was so impressed that i ended up visiting this wonderful restaurant thrice during my five day stay.I tried a varied of dishes like the Pho Bo, Pork Belly Bao, Bol Bok (chicken) Banh Mi, Pork Belly Fries, Pho Ga, Soft Shell Crab Banh Mi and Green Tea ice cream Macaroon. All the dishes tasted superb, my personal favourite was the Pho Bo which had tender, thinly sliced beef.Highly recommend visiting this fabulous restaurant.
