One of the best old time burger places I have ever been. This place didn’t cost much and had the best burgers and shakes. They have me as a life long customer.
Don’t waste your money here. I had lunch at Susie-Q’s today with my mother and we were very disappointed. To begin with, they got our order wrong. We did not receive the second order of curly fries we paid for. Also I requested no pickles on my jumbo cheeseburger and Susie-Q’s put pickles on my burger. The quality of Susie-Q’s food is poor. To begin with our onions rings were mushie when you bite into them. They are clearly using a inferior frozen onion ring product and trying to pass it off as the real thing. The order of curly fries we did get were under cooked. They were inedible. I had eaten at Susie-Q’s in the past and I remember their delicious juicy cheese burgers but the cheese burger I got today was flavorless and messy.I don’t know if Susie-Q’s has new owners or simply a new staff that don’t know how to cook or they just don’t care. Save yourself an upset stomach eat someplace else.
Food is always amazing! I will always come back!! AMAZING!!!
Have the Big Pig. Stopped by here and wasn’t disappointed! I had the Big Pig. What a sandwich!!! Was delish! The fried okra was yummy and the chili dog with cheese was right on! It was all yum! We will be eating here again for sure!!!
When did that change?. Stopped in right before they closed for the season and was stoked to discover that they accept credit/debit cards. When did that change, used to be cash only. One of our favorites during summer break, it is better than ever, but they need cleaner/better lookin seating options. Maybe a new paint job, too. Looking forward to spring!
Local treasure. Got to love the old Susie Q. Its a staple of Rogers and has been around over 50 years. There is something fun about ordering at the screen window and getting your number that is called when your order is ready. There is only one or two picnic tables so you might end up just eating in your car. I always go with a cheeseburger basket. Love a greasy big burger and curly fries. Top it off with a shake or malt. Good times. Is it the best? No but it sure is pretty good for what it is. Its a poplar place for lake goers as its right on the way out to Beaver Lake. Its always packed on the weekends. This used to be all we had long before the fast food chains moved in. Gosh, don’t you remember when you had to drive to Fayetteville to eat out? I’m all for supporting this local drive in
Okay except for the shake. I ordered a burger and fried mushrooms. The burger was pretty good. It would be nice if they included on their menu what comes on the burger if you don’t specify what you want. The mushrooms weren’t great. I’ve had much better. My boyfriend got a chocolate shake… we both agreed it was close to, if not the worst, we’ve ever tasted. We threw it away after we’d each had one taste. I guess I’m just spoiled because The Shack, my hometown’s burger and ice cream place, is both cheap AND delicious!
