Inconsistent pricing. Went there with a co-worker to pick up lunch. She always orders the beef stroganoff potato. So, when calling it in I asked them to add extra stroganoff to the potato like I did the week before because prior to that it had been skimpy on the stroganoff. So, we get there to pick up and they lady rang my friends up at $19.00 and some change. Now this is the same order that we placed the week prior that was $11.00. I told the lady that was awful high for one meal and she said that workers had not been charging people properly. We didn’t say anything but she was the same lady who rang us up the week before when it was $11.00 for the exact same meal.I have always liked their food, it is over priced but not like I saw today. I would suggest moving somewhere they could afford like back in down town Rogers so they can keep their customers. Because I will not pay $20.00 for lunch that consist mainly of a baked potato again.
Someone needs to ‘organize’ this place.. As a first time customer, upon entering we waited close to ten minutes while the ‘host/cashier’ dealt with two carry-out orders.. Meanwhile the line behind us built and stretched out the door. No one came to give any assistance. When we finally got to the cashier, we discovered that one is to place their order there upon entering. There was no mention by sign or verbally that this was the method of operation. We could have been looking at the menu all that time to decide our order; instead we felt greatly rushed to make a decision because of the long line behind us. The service, what there was of it, was initially fine insofar as the delivery of our order, but otherwise you are on your own to self-serve for cutlery, drinks, etc. (Sort of like McDonald’s). Not what we expected. Food was OK. Finally, upon LEAVING we then saw a wall mounted menu on a wall which was NOT clearly visible upon entering, which might have given us a clue as to the operation if we would have seen it upon ENTERING. Anyway this place needs serious re-organizing of its operations. A little service would be an improvement. Nice outdoor dining area in back. My avocado/tomato/bacon sandwich was on the small side with very little avocado or bacon in evidence. Fruit salad was mostly canned fruit, when there are lovely fresh fruits available locally at this time. We will not be returning.
Disappointing. Don’t waste your time and money here. The original Crumpet Tea Room in downtown Rogers was a unique dining experience with excellent service and wonderful food. This place is nothing like the original. Service – nonexistent; Atmosphere – complete chaos; Food – shockingly poor; Cost – an insult.
Very kind staff, but canned fruit, a scoop of chicken salad and sweet roll ? Not a fan. Wish I had a better lunch but will not return
The food is great-I crave the Chicken Salad Fruit Plate. My one problem with getting food there is that the lady running the register is one of the rudest people in the service industry I’ve ever encountered. I’m actually going to start going to the other locations further from my house and much less convenient in order to avoid her
I absolutely love the crumpet tea room! They have a wonderful strawberry salad and great tasting orange rolls! I go here every chance I get!
They have salads, soups, quiche, an assortment of teas, fruit and there orange rolls. Good food, but I was disappointed by there friendliness and helpfulness. A bit pricey for overall experience.
