Stoby’s restaurant usually has fairly good if simple food, my recent experience was disappointing however. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were not even warm when served. The hollandaise was tasteless and had congealed on the eggs and the hashbrowns were dried squiggles of potato. The waitress had refilled my coffee (which was good) and so did not return until much later. I took a few bites but could not make it through the cold and unappetizing food. No inquiry was made about why I did not eat the breakfast.
OK ive eat here i think 4 times (friends drag me here) and i dont get this place. Its a sandwich shop but not a good sandwich shop and my friends say try the cheese dip, ive tried it, its not good (to me) To be honest I never want to go here or like going here, but if your into grilled sandwiches and cheese dip give it a try, Every place is worth a try and try it twice if you didnt like it the first time. places have made a believer out of me on the second try…
Amazing menu, great food, best breakfast in town. I have lots of good things to say about this place. Good atmosphere, of the time the service is great. They have an operating train whistle for public use. That’s cool. 50/50 you’ll eat your meal in a train car, and that’s cool too.I’d recommend something specific but I haven’t ever had anything I didn’t like except Philly Benedict for breakfast (just wasn’t my style). The cheese dip is legendary though, in high school we went just for the cheese dip often.
