Terrible service. I sat in the drive-thru for about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. When the lady(in AJ shirt and jean skirt) finally did come to the window she asked me if I called in an order, no, I did not. Then she asked my order number (how should I know?) and when I asked her if it would be long since she was re-ringing the order I was told the restaurant was slow and shouldn’t be long and that if I was in a hurry I should have called my order in ahead of time..and she also didn’t bother to get my soda while I waited. The gentleman who eventually handed me my order had to do it.. oh, I forgot to mention that when I drove up I had to wait 5 minutes behind another car that was receiving elaborate fist bumps from his bro that worked at AJ. The guy who originally saw me and didn’t bother to open the window when I pulled up. The rest of the crew was outside smoking. Order # 279 Transaction #154187 (now that I have my receipt. 1.5 because the burger was good once I finally got it.
Angus Jack is a nice change from the onslaught of fast food and fast casual burger joints in the area. Their burgers are decently portioned and flavorful. My biggest concern early on was the lack of a convenient combo ordering system. When you roll up at the drive through (something I do often since I tend to grab something then head back to my office) you’re met with a somewhat chaotic ordering board. The new $6 combo has made this much easier and I wish it had been around when I first tried them. My favorite burger is the Black Jack. Jalapeos and blue cheese call to me every time. It’s a bit messy but I maintain that the best burgers are always one step away from ruining your favorite shirt. I’m not a big fan of their fries but I can eat my weight in their thin, shoestring fried onion strings! The batter on the onions could be crispier but that pungent onion zing melds beautifully with the spices they use. My experiences have been all over the map here but I’ll keep going back. I’ve never dined in so that could color my experience.
after our celiac diagnosis I struggled to find good and tasty gluten free options that my husband would enjoy.. so for the first 6-8 months we didnt eat out anywhere.. then we found Angus Jack in Springdale! definitely a good place to go for a quick and inexpensive Gluten free burger and fries!
Really good food, the burgers are fresh and juicy, the fries are freshly cut, it’s quite noticeable that they are, it’s a must place to go!!

The best place to go when you are craving a good burger. We ate at Angus Jack’s in October and got their $6 combo. The burger was delicious…juicy and just the right size. The fries were wonderful! Our son has been back several times. He reported to me last weekend that the onion straws were just exactly like I want. We don’t eat out very often, but Angus Jack’s is one place where I would go back in a heart beat!
