Great food and friendly people. I eat at E-san about twice a week. I always get great service and very tastey food. They usually only have one server who takes order, fixes drinks, runs the register amoung other things, so when they get a lot of customers at one time the server gets very busy and service slows a bit, but I can understand that. Some dishes you have to try are: Green Papaya Salad – This is an authentic Thai/Lao dish. I get it as hot as they will make it, but be warned, if you ask for it, you will get it very spicy. If you are not used to asian food you might hold off on trying it as it has that wonderful fishy/shrimpy flavour, with just the right amount of lime tartness.Meat Salad (beef) – They make the best I’ve had anywhere in the area. Sometimes it is very good, and other times it is plain amazing.Green Curry – As some of the other reviewers have stated, it is very good and may be the best in the area.Pho (noodle soup) – Always very good, especially if you know how to ‘doctor’ it to the asian palate. I add Crushed pepper, a touch of their own chilli sauce, a bit of sugar, a dab of beef flavouring, etc. It’s good on it’s own, but they keep it a bit mild for american palates. I only wish it had tripe and other organ meats aside from meatballs and beef alone. There is also a great dish with asian eggplant that I can’t recall the name. It has clear noodles, straw mushrooms, assorted vegies, and eggplant. Really good.

Good Pho. Thier Pho is my favorite in Springdale, AR however if you want better thai food, you may want to try Thai Secret.

Authentic SE Asian. The food is wonderfully flavorful and focused on Malaysian and Laotian cuisine. The decor and ambiance is pretty much whole-in-the-wall. If you walk in and allow yourself to take in all that is good, you will not be disappointed. The service was good, not great definitely better than you would receive if you were over in SE Asia. I also would not go so far as to say that the experience will take you back to that part of the world as the booths and climate control are developed world conveniences.

E-San is a bit uneven, in terms of service and particular dishes, but when it’s good, it’s really good. When it’s not-so-good, it’s just average, not bad. I’ve eaten Thai food for years, all around the country, and I make it at home, too. The green and red curries are excellent. The yellow curry is much sweeter than most. The Pad Thai and Lo Mein seem to vary a bit. If you want a more consistent experience, try Thai Secret, which is very good, too. E-San tends to be cheaper, overall, and more of a relaxed, local hangout.

Green Curry. They have the best green curry around. Just one portion, dinning in or take out, is enough to feed 2-3 people. It is seriously the best in all of NWA. Their vegie dishes are also equally amazing and crisp. Very fresh.

Pad Thai. The pad Thai was dry. Needed more sauce. I have had better food elsewhere.
