We came here for my friends birthday. We made a reservation for 10 people. 5 of us arrived and waited to be seated. After a long while we were seated and 2 other friends showed up. We ordered our drinks mostly sodas save for 3 people that ordered margaritas. The waitress asked for our order and we stated that we would wait for the remainder of our party to arrive before ordering, however ordered the guacamole live to start. Two friends were starving and went ahead and ordered fajitas. Before their drinks had arrived their fajitas came out. We sat so long they had eaten all of their food before the waitress ever returned- she finally came back and stated someone forgot to put in our drink orders. By this time I was happy that I just got water bc I was one of the only people with a drink. Finally the remainder of our party arrived and the waitress took their drink and food order, and left! She never took our food order! Drinks came out and we asked about the guacamole live that had never even come out. She went and got the makings for guacamole live and made it at our table. We asked if we could also order dinner. The guacamole live was okay- but needed lime juice. She finally took our order and by the time everyone was done eating our food came outmind you we were the FIRST people there! Food was okay. Not great. Then our server came back with our tickets. We all paid and all of the table left with the exception of US, THE FIRST PEOPLE THERE. The birthday girls ticket was high and we looked closer at it. She had put someone elses meal on her ticket. She said I did not order that. The server shrugged her shoulders and said they left. She didnt even offer to take the meal off the ticket. One of the worst dining experiences ever. If you go here, dont do it on a special occasion.
Decided to try this place for lunch. Came in and there were 2 huge groups so thought it must be good. Ordered chipotle cheese dip. It tastes like cheez-whiz. The spicy salsa had a weird carboard after tasted. The mild salsa was quite good. For our entrees we ordered the chicken burrito and chicken chimichanga. The burrito was ok. The chicken was moist. The chimichanga was horrible. It was not crispy at all. And it was quite bland. Rice on the side of both was very dry. Beans were ok.
DO NOT EAT HERE. If you like the La Huerta in Russellville and think that all La Huerta’s are the same be warned. Just don’t eat at the La Huerta in Springdale. The service is horrible, the food is subpar, and be ready to spend too much on a meal. My advice. Just stick to the La Huerta in Russellville when you drive through. Don’t even try this one in Springdale, AR.
Excellent Food and Service. Clean restaurant with great and fairly authentic food. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. Great place to get your grub on!!!
Staff is friendly. Food quality has changed over the past year.
My wife and I just ate lunch at La Huerta… The food was very horrible. Service sucked as well. Salty. Canned chicken?!? Salsa was gross as well. Stomachs upset.
Don’t come you’ll regret it. Nasty nasty nasty! I came with my friends on Friday and everything came out wrong! The food was cold and it tasted plain no flavor at all very disappointed. Same as all the other Mexican places in NWA. Me and my friends are never coming back! Sticking to Guadalajara Bar and Grill in Springdale way better and yes very authentic unlike la Huerta
