Tamales. I don’t like the tamales at fast food places, but the tamales at Mia Tienda Supermarket are Very Good, and filling.I ordered enough for a party, and before the party started, I had to try one out. These tamales will be a hit at the party, now I wonder if there will be any leftovers.
OMG! El mejor!. I’m from the west coast, and now I live in an area of beautiful northwest Arkansas that lacks good authentic Latin American cuisine. I read about it in the Democrat-Gazette, so on our next visit to Springdale, I sprang for lunch, and we stopped in. My husband ordered a grande’ alambre burrito, and I got a tinga de polla gordita and a puposa.He offered me a bite, and this is seriously the best burrito I have had in a long time; even in California and Washington. I was seriously jealous of his burrito for a second; until I ate my food! Next time, and there WILL be a next time, I’m getting one of those. Hard to decide, the al pastor sounds yummy too. They treated him like a king and sliced it in half. It was a huge burrito. Perfect. He loved it too. The gordita was delicious. The home made corn tortillas are thick and yummy and it had cotija cheese. The puposa, a Salvadorean dish was delicious too. There is a market and a pandoria, thankfully it was closed lol, I got some cilantro, cotija, masa and New Mexico dried chilies. Good prices on line with what I was used to on the west coast. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all.
Tamales were good.
Authentic Mexican Goodness. The food at Mi Tienda (tacos de carne asada, lengua, pastor, guaraches, gorditas, quezadillas, pupusas, burritos, flautas), is fresh, authentic and top quality. Saturday mornings are my favorite because they have carnitas, birria and menudo, in the company of a mandarin Jarrito… ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!
