I had the catfish tonight, nice thick filets cooked to perfection. Not those little over cooked pices you get from other places. The entire meal was DELICIOUS we will definitely be back for more catfish 😉
The only place left in Arkansas where you can get pulleys — the center cut of a chicken breast, pan fried to perfection. Also, try the high peaked meringue pies! tiedyetravels.com
Sweet Catfish bigger than your hand! So good and go for the all you can eat if your ready! Also had some of the chicken fried chicken best around these parts we decided.
The pie. They need someone to give them some tips on making tender flakey pie crust. It used to be good but whomever is doing it now doesn’t seem to understand the art of pie crust making. Especially lard pie crust. It is tough and undercooked and soggy. Hope they can do better. Good thing I make my own pies most of the time.05 Mar, 2014Good. We went back after we had some not so good food several times. I know it’s hard to be consistent in the food business but, to fluctuate so much is a turn off. I like to go to a place that you can be sure it will at least be edible. This time it was very good. Hope it stays that way. It isn’t cheap either.
I found the food pretty average, and the coffee is pretty poor. In this day the coffee should at least be OK.
This place should be called Neal’s leftovers cafe. I can’t believe anybody could think this place is good.
Ok-to-good chicken fried steak. Had the chicken fried steak, was ok to good. Good taste but a bit small and thin. Nothing special overall. Mashed potatoes were outstanding, and they give you a lot. Also like that you get both a roll and cornbread, both of which were fresh and tasty.Service was friendly.
