Forgot to take this place off my list. Service was good and food was decent but the obnoxious music was deafening. No way to converse with dinner partner. Most people just play on smart phone. There is too many good places around with good dining atmosphere . Will not waste money or time here again.
Uh Oh!. Used to go there for prime rib. Last trip was a joke. Never ever, ever had prime rib sliced so thinly. Mashed potatoes were cold. Meat was cold. By the time the manager came out and apologized my whole birthday dinner experience was down the drain. Won’t go back. Too bad.
Great service with friendly staff. Great food for a chain reatauraunt. The prices are a bit steep for the quality of the meat dishes. I would say all around good time with or without kids.
I have always liked Outback, as far as chains restaurants go, their food quality is very high. However, they have the BEST RIBS I have ever eaten. They are so good, I actually resent it. Better than any of these famous BBQ joints, what I do at home, anything. It is simply wrong that a chain restaurant (that probably only uses the oven) has the best ribs I’ve ever eaten. Consistently. Eating with cognitive dissonance!
There are some great non-steak items that might suprise you. I recently had a burger here and it was fabulous. They make their own parties here and aren’t frozen. That makes a big difference in the flavor of a burger. On the plus side, it is also one of the less expensive items on the menu. The other great non-steak item is the Alice springs chicken. Chicken, Cheese and Bacon all wrapped together. This is not the healthiest, but sure is great tasting!
Yeah. It’s a chain. Yeah. There much better places to go in NWA for steak. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t gladly meet friends there for a beer and a steak. Good steak, decent sides, fun atmosphere, and pleasant staff means a nice evening to me.
Chains are for Wal-Mart vendors. Get local for good food. We have great, unique steakhouses in NWA.
