Loved this place. I stopped by tp stock up on ramen the other day, and noticed they sold food as well. I bought a few of their sweet bbq pork buns– they tasted great! My sister also bought roasted duck from them once. It was also pretty good. This is a nice, solid one-stop shop for those looking for food and also groceries. My only complaint is that I wished they would carry more SE Asian cuisine ingredients. They do a good job with all of the basics, but I couldn’t find the pho broth seasonings that i usually use. Their worker showed me an alternative brand, which was pretty good as well, but its not the same flavor that i am used to. Anyway, check it out! This is another lovely gem in NWA.
Chinatown in Springdale!. Tang’s is not really a restaurant but more like a Chinese marketplace filled with Asian groceries, foods, and baked treats that would typically be sold in Chinatown in San Francisco or New York City. I mainly go to Tang’s for their warm and tasty BBQ pork buns, sweet coconut-filled buns, and delicate egg custards. They also have a large variety of ramen noodles to choose from – many brands that you probably have never heard of. The store is very clean, well organized, and run by friendly people. If you want a tasty, inexpensive treat for lunch or need some Chinese ingredients for dinner tonight, I highly recommend Tang’s Asian Market.
