We were on our way for a train ride on Sunday morning and stopped here for a VERY late breakfast. Both of us had noticed how very busy this tiny place always is so we kept saying we should try it. This seemed like the perfect time. There’s a tiny crowded dining area that’s very clean. The menu is on the wall printed in both Spanish and English. We ordered Huevos Rancheros from a very pleasant smiling lady we could barely understand. After filling our drinks from the fountain machine we sat down and within five more minutes another very friendly young lady brought us both huge plates with the Huevos Rancheros, rice, refried beans and separate plates of freshly made warm tortillas. This was an excellant choice! It was so good! There was way too much and neither one of us could eat half of what we were served but it was wonderful! This is very laid back, fast, cheap and yet fresh, absolutely amazing food! You need to try this. We will be going back very soon for some Chile relenos!

Very very good. The place was packed and we still only waited about 10 min for our meal. The feel, and the food seems more authentic than most. Everything wasn’t doused in cheese dip or greasy cheese. They have about 10 tables inside and one waitress who did a very good job. The majority of orders were to go. They have a menu with no prices on the wall, but if you ask for a hand menu they have all the prices.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food! I go here at least once a week! The red sauce is just how I like it, hot! Highly recommend the chicken tacos!

Great Taqueria!. Upon the suggestion of my Columbian friend, I stopped into Taqueria Guanajuato. I ordered several items (and split them) that included 4 tacos (asada, al pastor, carnitas, chorizo) and 2 sopes (asada, chorizo). Everything was cooked fresh and came out hot. They served the meal with two kinds of hot sauce (tomatillo green and hot pepper red). Each taco was served with two tortillas and came with onions, cilantro, and a slice of lime on the side. The sope was a thick tortilla-type bread that had a refried bean spread. The meat of choice was added with lettuce, queso fresco, and topped with a slice of avacado. It was a great meal. Even better was the price. DEFINITELY stop by and try this place out.

Good, not pricey. Definitely authentic Mexican. Nothing fancy, but food was good. To be safe, we ordered chicken enchiladas. They were a bit short of chicken, but flavor was good. I could have eaten a lot more. if you have a small appetite, the quantity would suffice. No chips and dip, only the dish you order. The rice was the best I have ever had. Payment is literally made through a hole in the wall. We might go back, but would probably try somewhere else.

Great Food. This is a very small place, but the food is excellent. I like their tortas very much. Tacos are good, and they have tasty breakfast, as well. Torta milanesa is my favorite.

Good, but maybe a little pricey. Stopped by with the family for tacos. The al pastor was good, and so was the carne asada, but I would skip the pollo. The bill for 7 tacos and 1 horchata was $15 – I would have expected around $12 but there were no prices anywhere.
