Very good!. Ate there yesterday and thought it was great! That shrimp dip was exceptional and the Italian Creme cake was great!
I’ve been here before and didn’t like it, decided to try again…yeah no. . Salsa tastes like pace picante with extra cilantro, generic chips. Service was subpar..the triple alarm burger was good but it needed something extra. The owner or manager kept trying to pawn desserts on us and wasn’t nice about it either. . All in all, not going back.
I wouldn’t waste my time unless it was for lunch and then only on a certain day because everything else on their menu us generic and overpriced.
I was very impressed with Alley Oops. It is a small dinner style restaurant. Our waitress was sweet and helpful, not exceptional service but smaller restaurants of that style aren’t known for service. We ordered cheese dip which was awesome! Homemade and great flavor. I had veggie quesadillas which were also very good in flavor and a great option for vegetarians. My date had the shrimp poboy, and opposing the last reviews I thought it was great. Good flavor and fresh veggies, the hoagie bun is just Americanized but the restaurant was Americanized food. I’ll be back again. 🙂
A Fan of Alley Oops for 17 years. I love the food, the owners. Alley oops was one of the first places my husband I event to when we started dating 17 years ago. Sarah is the sweetest server. Carla in the bar is a hoot, you have to know her. If something is wrong tell Gary, he is one of the owners. The chocolate chest pie is great! I love the Wednesday lunch special. The grilled veggies are a must. It isn’t a fancy place, but a place like home.The burgers are juicy. The grilled catfish or chicken strips are always good when we go and after 17 years we go a lot. If you aren’t on a diet ask them about the Corey fries, if the server is new ask for Sarah,Nancy or Carla they will know. When had my stroke the send my favorite salad to me, they knew hospital food was killing me.
Burgers are great!. Burgers always come out good and juicy. The fries are always good and crispy, never soggy. One of my favorite places in Little Rock for burgers and fries. Great plate lunches too!
Love Alley Oops!. I just finishsed my favorite… the salad with crispybreaded chicken strips and the best ranch dressing!The employees were friendly and helpful and the foodwas prepared fresh while I waited. It doesn’t get anybetter than that for lunch!
