If I could give this place a trillion stars, I totally would!! The owner, I think his name is Sam?, is THE NICEST AND MOST GENUINE person I have EVER met. And remembers me every time I visit even though I only go about once every 6 months. The food is beyond delicious and to me, seems the most authentic Indian that I’ve had since moving to Arkansas. Prices are also great. Over all, I love everything about this place. One thing for sure, their customer service is one of (if not THE) very best I’ve ever EVER received. Keep up the great work you guys!
Love this place! The service is amazing! Sami makes sure you feel welcome and are stuffed when you leave. The buffets are amazing, as is ordering off the menu. You can’t go wrong with a visit here. I come here whenever I’m in town.
Absolutely love this restaurant. My home away from home, and the proprietor Sami Lal is one of those people you only meet once in a lifetime…a force of nature. He and his family are truly remarkable, which is a reflection of their equally remarkable food!
Food gets a solid 4.0. But the service gets a 5. Lunch buffet is both delicious and affordable. Their lamb meatball dish is incredible, as is their chicken tikka masala.
The best value buffet in Little Rock, the best Indian comfort food around, and Sami never forgets you once you walk through the door. Star of India is a longtime favorite that never disappoints. The Lamb Kofta has become a go-to for introducing anyone to Indian flavors, and with a daily buffet that always includes several types of North Indian curries, you cannot go wrong. Fabulous! This is the best India I have ever eaten. I had the Chicken tiki masala and it was wonderful. We also had a bowl of garlic naan bread! Yummo! I had an amazing cup of India coffee and my friends has chia and a mango drink, kinda like a smoothie. Sammy was a wonderful host and took great care of us. I am going back for the lunch buffet tomorrow.
Sent my husband to get take out. It was a -very- hot day and he must have looked bad when he came in because the owner of the restaurant had him sit down and drink a cold mango drink while he waited for our food. So nice!I haven’t been in personally, but our chicken saag was GOOD. Thanks!
