We had been on a long road trip and had spent four days in New Orleans and this beat anything we ate there. In fact it was the best meal of the trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the fillet with the Oscar. Incredible. The best steak we’ve eaten. Also the crawfish techie was amazing, I could see why it is award winning. My husband ate gumbo clear through Louisiana and Florida and this was the best. We were warned up front that there might be a wait, however, we were seated and brought drinks and garlic bread. The servers promptly waited on us. This was a great eating experience.
When a pregnant lady has waited an hour and half and still has no food, it doesn’t matter how good it is. We have been here a few times and always had excellent food and service but an hour wait between salads and entree is ridiculous. It won’t be happening again. Signed, still waiting
The BEST steak in the Memphis area…bar none! From the great atmosphere, complimentary Hurricane and excellent service to the tastiest perfect cut of meat you’ve ever put in your mouth…Bourbon Street does it right! Even the sirloin melts in your mouth like butter. Start with the delicious shrimp au gratin then move on to a tender steak only to be finish off the perfect meal with a glass of Grand Marnier and Bananas Foster dessert. The Bourbon Street Grill is a hidden gem that will not disappoint!
Unfortunately, this place has gone down fast. I was at the kennel club the other night and ordered from their menu. Let’s just say that it was not good. Actually, Terrible. I believe that the economy has hurt the dog track and all their food outfits. Plus, employees stated that the new track manager has ruined everything. I will agree with their assessment. Hopefully, they can turn this place around in the future.
