The Marketplace, there this bakery is located, is a really cute location with lots of food options. It’s exactly what you would think of when you invasion a healthy, organic market. The Feel Good Bakery is a perfect place to grab breakfast or a snack. There were so many treats and breads that looked amazing, but I eventually chose the lemon poppyseed muffin which was delicious and so moist. It would have been perfect with a cup of coffee, which though Feel Good doesn’t have any, there is a Beanery at the other end of the Marketplace.

Feel Good Feels Great. Feel Good is a great bakery that just keeps getting better. I am hopelessly addicted to several of their baked goods, but am rendered completely helpless by their corn muffins and their Parisian Macaroons.I would definitely recommend their bread as the best in Alameda, and think it is the equal or better than any of the big Bay Area bread producers too.They are doing cakes now as well. Try the classic Opera cake: thin layers of cake soaked in coffee with layers of chocolate. Mmmmmm 🙂
