Inconsistant. Friday dinner for three adults, two children. Seated promptly, LONG wait for order taking. Best item was the chips [probably store-bought, but warm and crisp], although the salsa was so-so. Most of the group was satisfied with their order, but my combo, enchilada/ burrito was unremarkable; bland and tasteless. This second visit was less worthy of stars primarily due to the SLOW service and my unsat combo plate.04 Jul, 20114TH July lunch. Lunch on Holiday Monday of Fourth of July. Three adults had two chicken enchiladas, one chile relleno;total [no drinks except water] was $23.89 plus tip. Super excellent chips and salas, replentished once. Super food, with excellent service. While a little pricy, still a good restaurant in the good location. Would go back.

I love love love this place! The staff are super quick and courteous. The food has been fab every single time I go there. They also have some of the best chips and salsa around!! The tequila bar and drink menu is to die for! I love that they use sugar cane sticks in a lot of their adult libations too. They are open until either 2 or 3 in the morning as well so it can be a great late night excursion. Viva La Penca Azul!!

It’s open late, which is good. The food is above average. Drawback – don’t go if you are in a hurry. It is always busy.

A must stop. If your late night eater or want a lot of bang for your buck…La Pinata is your place. The wait can be a pain sometimes…but it is worth it especially after you have had a few cocktails. there isn’t a lot of instant taste nor a ton of heat on the menu. I have never walked out hungry or dissappointed. My favorite on the menus are the enchildadas and burritos…both a great.

Love Love Love!. Our family began going to La P when they first opened and we would be the only ones in the restaurant. We would go there for all of our family special occasions. The food is always great! Try the soup they serve on the weekends it is to die for!
