Old skool, love this place! This place has a 50’s diner feel and waffles. Bobby Max special was awesome at a fair price. Wait staff was super chill and made sure our coffee cups stayed filled for our whole stay. For those who want extremely cheap mediocre pancakes and waffles don’t go here. Now, if you want some of the best waffles and pancakes in Alameda go now.

Surly Servers. Excellent breakfast chow with grumpy old waitresses.

YUMM!. We did have to wait a bit to get into get into this place. It’s a very loud and busy diner type restaurant. When we were seated we had very good coffee and fast service. I ordered a waffle with fresh strawberries on top and a side of hash brown. It was delivered quickly and was very good. The syrup was delivered hot. They even were happy to accommodate my lactose intolerance.

Great place for breakfast. Be prepared to wait inline on weekends.

There’s a reason you always see a line outside the door going down the street. New to the area I decided to give it a try, and boy was I glad I did. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was great too!! Especially for such a busy place. Our waitress was super nice and our drinks were never empty. The waffles are original and the best I ever had. Definitely would recommend the wait to get into this place to anyone.

Fantastic!. I just moved to Alameda about 8 months ago. My first weekend here I was looking for a place for breakfast and Ole’s immediately stood out because there was a line out the door. I found out afterwards that there’s no line inside, which is nice. The line typically moves pretty quickly. The waffels are fantastic. The Jalapeno Chicken Sausage is also fantastic. I LOVE Ole’s.
