As a person who loves dimsum and has travelled the world for it, this is a solid spot. Paired with the views and the amazing prices, this is by far the best dimsum spot in the Bay Area (trust me, I’ve tried countless grease dripping gross dimsum places). Their daily specials are a steal and their items mostly fall between $3.50-6.00 per dish. They have a combination of carts going around as well as sheets to order. I loved the baked bbq pork bun as well as their shrimp and scallop dumplings. All of their bao based buns were super fluffy and the texture is super nice. I found everything to be flavorful, not overly salty, and not overly greasy. Also came here for Chinese New Year dinner and the food was great and well priced. Had the peking duck – they made it in two courses which is hard to find around here! Also had their hot and sour soup and tea smoked prawns. The soup was delicious and had just the right amount of sour and hotness. Tea smoked prawns were super flavorful but a tad salty, but would be great with some white rice.Food is fast and the service is very friendly, they always fill up tea and the whole experience is far superior to most Chinese restaurants. Restaurant has plenty of parking and is located in the Alameda marina area. If you want good Chinese food with a great ambiance, come here.
