The sushi here is different..more on the veggie side..it’s all fresh & delicious though..Service is great & it’s very open atmosphere..oh & it’s right across the street from the Alameda beach..Should def try the roll with scallops..deeeelicious
The Sashimi was exelent service was great and the food came fast to our table, you should come early as it gets very busy in the afternoon.
This is as fast food as sushi gets: cheap, filling, and not as high quality as what Japanese food is traditionally considered. Plus the wait is long, especially on the weekends. But I still go for the rolls (don’t bother with anything else). In particular: lion king, bay scallop, Webster, island, lambada, or anything with fried and saucy ingredients. If you don’t want to wait for a table or a seat at the bar, call for takeout
I love this place.. As others have said, the service is TERRIBLE. but the food is so good i just can’t stay away. i always do keep the service in mind, but i usually just suck it up and enjoy the grub. there are so many awesome rolls for a great price, and their salad dressing is THE BEST! love it.
Great food! Unfortunately, not the service. I have been to this restaurant a lot of times JUST for the food. And each and every time their service is bad and slow. They really need to start hiring qualified workers.
I love there food but service is okay a I love the salad and when I was sick I drank the soup and it made me feel better
Unfortunately, I have to agree with Kiray. The food is good, but the service is spotty. Depending on your server, you may get completely ignored for simple requests like water or extra sauce. The food is this place’s only saving grace.
