We took our friends here for dinner based on the recommendation of my wifes coworker that knows the chef/owner. Our friends requires low sodium meals and my wifes coworker said that he accommodates for all manner of preferences. The kitchen grilled a special salmon filet for our friend with some fresh parboiled cauliflower all with no salt. It was awesome. The octopus appetiser was so tender and yummy. We ordered three pasta dishes all of which were so good. I wanted to eat more! The service is as good as it gets!

Probably the best restaurant in Alameda. The space is gorgeous – only downside is that it can get a bit loud when it’s really busy. Food is fresh, creative and yummy! Sitting at the counter in front of the exhibition kitchen is the best way to really appreciate the absolute freshness of the ingredients and how they are put together. The owner is a charming guy who ventures out to the tables regularly to make sure his patrons are enjoying themselves. Service is first-rate.

Fantastic meal. This gem is hidden in the middle of a South Shore Center and well worth looking for. Walk in to a beautiful space that feels more like a warm, giant family room with a kitchen. Service was remarkable. Our waiter timed everything perfectly as was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We started with a light and perfectly done Calamari, raw beef carpaccio and prosciutto with pecorino that were all artfully done and delicious. The Artisan Bread we were served was warm, crusty and hard to stop eating. I had a perfectly done Shrimp, Squash and Saffron Risotto that made me smile as I ate it. The shrimp were sweet and plentiful. My desert was a flourless chocolate cake that was sublime and went fantastically with my deeply rich cup of coffee. We left feeling completely satisfied and will most definitely return. I strongly suggest making a reservation before going particularly if you have a party of 5 or more.
