SUPER CHEAP AND DELICIOUS! I got the $8 pulled pork and it was amazing. It’s only $3, but it’s pretty decently sized and the sandwich is unbelievable. Super authentic too.
$3.25 for the #8.Eat it right away so the baguette doesn’t get soggy. The pork had great flavor and the jalapeo set it off. This combined with a Vietnamese iced coffee hits a spot that be making you feel some type of way.
Not bad. I wouldn’t recommend getting a sandwich here in the morning if you’re in a hurry. Takes about 10-15 mins to get your sandwich.
Fantastic banh mi’s!. If you were not looking, you would easily drive right by banh mi my tho as this sandwich shop is located in a seriously dingy strip mall on the south side of valley blvd. i was heading out to play golf at alhambra gc and needed to get some food into my belly before teeing off, thus, i yelped a spot and low and behold, banh mi my tho popped up…and they are located within 5mins of the golf course. woooot! i arrived at the sandwich shop and it was small and sold a mish mosh of food items, newspapers, and packaged goods. the guy in front of me ordered a pork rice plate that looked and smelled really good. i’ll have to give that a whirl next time. they have a small menu taped to the wall and i ordered the bbq pork sammie, a steamed pork sammie and a 3rd one that i forgot. my order was taken by a middle aged woman who was all smiles and was very kindly. Within 10mins, all my sammies were ready and i hopped into my car to make my tee time. in a stroke of luck, our tee time was postponed 30mins,thus, allowing us time to nosh. my golfing buddies and i grabbed a table and each grabbed a sammie. since the sammies were not marked, we did not know which one we got until we opened the packaging. i ended up with the steamed pork sammie. this is essentially ground pork infused with herbs and other flavoring. so damn good. the great thing about banh mi my tho is that the sammies are all made fresh and are loaded down with the picked veggies and peppers. a lot of the other banh mi joints i go to tend to skimp on the julienned veggies and the peppers. yay for them. did i mention that the sammies were stuffed to the gills with meat as well? this place definitely gives you a good bang for the buck. as a matter of fact, i had tasty morsels of meat falling out of my sammie each time i bit into it. good in that the sammie was stuffed and bloated, bad because of the meat attrition this less going into my belly. i will definitely head back to banh mi my tho to grab sammies prior to my next round at alhambra gc. woot!
Bomb. Viet sandwiches are the bomb here
