Was very nice to have dinner here yesterday with the family. The place has been open for years. Being away for such a long time from traditional Lebanese/middle eastern food so was nice to eat again the traditional Lebanese Meza and dishes. Some food and items needed a bit more spice and ingredients. But a lot of the menu was just perfect. Great service delicious cold Lebanese beer almaza!
Standard fare for mid-east food. Nothing is overly spiced here. In fact flavor is on the bland side. Some may argue that may be it’s refined taste but I did not find it so. I am reminded of the equivalent taste in an American Buffett place such as Shakey. Don’t get me wrong, I like tha place but it’s flavor is not as intense as compare to Helen in Glendale or the Afghan Palace in Ramcho Cucamonga.
Middle East Buffet. I dined once at Wahib’s ten years ago, but returned today to try their buffet. I expected Middle Eastern food because the banner in the parking lot featured such items. There were Middle Eastern side dishes such as stuffed grape leaves, and still warm pita bread, but the main dishes were all standard American cuisine. The roast beef was delicious, top quality. The baked chicken was also good. I’ve never seen chicken spiced quite this way. I enjoyed it immensely.I’m not a fish person, so I passed on the baked fish, but it looked good as well. I liked the fruit selection, sliced cantaloupe, watermelon and grapes. The weekday buffet is $10, $15 on the weekends. I’m told the weekend buffet includes lamb shanks and other additional items. I’ll be back on the weekend to try that.Large, convenient parking lot, attentive service, reasonable price, good food. Worth a visit.
