Always love to come here. A little taste of home. Staff always friendly. Food normally great however my long long hankering for steak and kidney pie tonight was met with great disappointment. I know, I know about speedy service here in the US but pleeeeze next time rather than heat up my ‘puff pastry’ steak pie up in the microwave, which we all know makes even the best pastry soggy, please add on a few minutes and pop that yummy pie into the oven so we can enjoy that crispy crunch of the pastry we all so miss! Otherwise always a good place to stop by, grab a pint or two and some good eats. Rule Brittania!
This place is great. You can bring your family for dinner or take the guys for dinner. The food is decent, but the service really sucks. It shouldn’t take 45 minutes to put in a drink order after u sat down for dinner.

Haddock & Chips!! MMMMMM!!. Best in the Bay Area by far!! Home away from home, wonderful food, service and staff. They added the Haddock to the menu a few months ago and I haven’t had anything else since it’s that GOOD. Great place to meet up with friends and family for dinner. We watch all the local sporting events here too.I love that the owners arrange outings for the locals, we been horse racing, Sharks games and lots of concerts where dinner and transport have been included with the tickets price!! No worries, what else could you ask for??
Great atmosphere, good food…. This pub has a great atmosphere, and good, good food (not to mention good drinks). They have their own smoker and so make some of the best BBQ sandwiches — the pulled pork is great. They also deviate a bit from traditional pub grub — as well as having the usual favorites, the other night they had a really tasty fondue! The Kobe burgers are delicious too. Service is always good. Bar staff are a pleasure!
