My never ending desires for sushi is a flame that will never burn out. So when I heard of AYCE+ Sushi I knew I didn’t have to call Ms. Cleo to tell me where I was headed in my near future. When you hear the words sushi and all you can eat buffet in the same sentence your stomach tends to cringe at the thought of the quality of the food. I do admit I was skeptical especially when it comes to seafood and astonishing as this sounds the food was pretty decent. Tomi is probably the best choice for buffets out there. Not sure what to expect I envisioned a couple of trays with some sushi rolls over a heated lamp but boy was I wrong. I have to give them props for the variety of assorted Asian foods. Roasted Duck, dumplings sushi, egg custards, XLB, green tea ice cream and so much more. My first stop was straight to the sashimi section. I thought they had well cut slices for your choosing. I also saw cooked dungeness crab, lobster and crab legs. The meat wasn’t very fresh but that was expected. They had a limited dessert section but their green tea ice cream came in for the win. Expect a wait especially if you are coming for dinner. They told me to make a reservation next time to avoid the lines.
