Pretty Good For the East Side. If you are hungry this pizza will satisfy you. Its a descent tasting authentic pizza. Definitely a step up from the typical chain pizzas like Domino’s or Pizza Hut and Papa Johns. The atmosphere is good and the owners are authentic Italians. Good place to go watch some sports and have a beer without the huge crowds. If you are a pizza connoisseur its about a 7 out of 10. But then again if you are connoisseur of anything, what the hell are you doing in the East SJ.
Best Pizza in East San Jose. I can’t speak for other areas, but if you’re anywhere East of 101 in San Jose, you owe it to yourself to give Vito’s a try. Great pizza (been going there and doing take out for 25 years), and also a very nice atmosphere with big screen sports if you want to eat in. The Vito’s combo is fantastic, but we’re also stuck on a simple Pepperoni and Mushroom standard. AND the price is less for this great pizza than the mediocre pizza at the chains. You can’t go wrong!
