Delicious.. Ignore the decor – the food is great. I went on a Sunday afternoon and while they were kinda busy, there was only one group of people sitting at a table. I definitely recommend the samosa and the pakora. I found out the hard (and awkward!) way that you are served on plates like entrees – so, you will get an entire plate of pakora, not just four or five bits. Samosa come in twos, and so on. Very filling food, so try to just test out one thing at a time. Mango lassi is superb, cool and refreshing and not super-sweet like the kind you get at the nearby market. A variety of sweets await you, but while I didnt try any they certainly looked appealing. They also have spiced cashews and other assorted snack mixes. While the tables arent exactly spotless (do they ever wipe them down?) and the workers are kind of on the grumpy side, its a nice place to go. Plus theres a flat screen tv, so you can enjoy Indian videos while you dine. Super casual, its a great place for lunch or dinner. Anything you order can be carried out to go, too. For anyone inexperienced with Indian food, they offer pictures of entrees and labels telling you what ingredients are in the food item.
