I was shopping at MadPoppin and spied Gerry’s Grill across the parking lot. The logo is a swordfish holding 2 beers. Is it a bar and grill? a burger place? a fish place? Uhhh actually its a Filipino restaurant.The only other Filipino place I’ve been to is Goldilocks or Leelin’s Bakery, so I looked over the menu and found the comfort food like pancit, adobo, lumpia… sure, let’s try itI spied other tables with their food, and the portions are sharable. So since it was just me and Karen, we decided to share the pancit bihon noodles, and an order of the bbq pork skewers. The pork took a while to arrive, but it was worth the wait. It was perfectly cooked and tender. It’s a bit pricey, 3 skewers for $11, but it’s all meat, no fillers.The staff cleans as you’re done eating, so by the you’re ready to leave, your table is pretty much ready for the next guest.
