We arrived early for 830 reservation on a Saturday night & they found us a table quickly; impressive menu & good wine list. Excellent service despite being very busy. Samosas & gobi Manchurian terrific starters. Our tikka masala, palak paneer & lamb korma could have been spicier- we asked for medium but I think we got the gringo version. My son, not into spicy, got garlic chicken which was just right. Keema & garlic naan lovely.
With all the Indian cuisine within the area its pretty hard to say which offers the best around Artesia. I’ve eaten at quite a few and can say the food here is pretty good. The dining area is also nice. This visit was a fast one. There was a full house but me and a friend were able to get a table right away. We looked over the menu despite decisions for entrees being decided before arriving haha. Chicken makhni and chicken tikka masala were the choices. While we waited fresh papadum was brought to the table. I love these thin cracker like snacks. Great flavor and the sauces brought with it was good as well. The entrees arrived shortly after and both were great. Chicken tikka masala is always one of my go to dishes for Indian food. It’s sauce here was a little sweeter than I’m use to but was still flavorful. The chicken makhni was the best of the two. For those not familiar, its butter chicken and the butter flavor is present all throughout the sauce. Very delicious. These selections and its flavors are enough to prompt more visits. To add, the staff is friendly and the service is fast. I’m looking forward to trying their lunch buffet next visit.Visit Date 6/12/2016

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!. I get off work every Friday at 2:00 Pm, I left work and I went to pick up my friend and we drove straight to the India Restaurant, we got there at 2:40 pm, when we enter the restaurant, the owner start looking at his watch, and I told him the time is 2:40 pm, and I ask him, is to late for us to eat here ???…… he told us, yes is too late, because we closed at 3:00 pm.We left the Restaurant and we went to Mezban Biryani Place, that place is the mother of the best indian cuisine, I Totally Recommended :)))
My girlfriend and I both enjoyed The India Restaurant’s reasonably priced lunch buffet. The food was excellent and the selection included four veggie and four meat entres as well as appetizers and desserts. The salad part was a little lacking but the rest more than makes up for it.
This place has changed since I was several years ago. They expanded and it looks great! Food is excellent.
Great Lunch Buffet!. Their lunch buffet offers a variety of popular Indian dishes including tandoori chicken and veggie samosas – which are all fresh and delicious. It is a real bargain at $9.95 (11am- 2:30 pm). They also have a full dinner menu.
