The Belvedere, is a fine dining establishment, located inside the historic Padre Hotel.We rcently dined at the Belvedere, prior to attending the Eagles concert at Rabo Bank Arena. Our experience at the Belvedere made an otherwise awesome night perfect.The surroundings are exquisitely classic and classy, with the ceiling to floor drapes, sculpted pillars, and high back booths.The chef is excellent, being both an artistic and culinary genius. Each dish was well presented, and flavorful. Even the desert was painstakingly crafted and served. The Belvedere is on par or above many fine dining establishments I have visited, around the world. This is by far one of he best fine dining experiences that I have ever had.Will definitely return every chance I can. Also, the Belvedere is an easy walk to Rabo Bank Arena.
Far and away they best food, service, decor, and ambiance in all of Bakersfield. No other place can even come near The Belvedere Room’s class. I have never even been remotely disappointed. Completely worth every last penny.
Best in Bakersfield. I can’t believe it only has a 76 score. I’ve been here at least ten times and have never been disappointed. Fabulous food, great service, and an atmosphere that rivals anything I’ve seen the ‘big’ cities. Guess that’s Bakersfield for you. No offense, I’ve been here 35 years but it’s still a meat and potatoes town and the Belvedere is fine dining at fair prices. Try it out.
Nice atmosphere however the best plate that was served to me was the beet salad. I had the rib eye, wild mushrooms and truffle creamed spinach it was way to salty and I couldnt finish my meal due to the fact that I felt like I was eating a salt lick.
The Belvedere is a high class restaraunt that gives traditional dishes a modern twist. Located in The Padre, which has become an urban oasis for the younger crowd in downtown Bakersfield. Full of modern art, and bold colors – this theme stops at entrance to the Belvedere. Located in a single, but decent sized room the environment is elegant, and relaxed. The seating is fairly cramped, but makes the experience more romantic for two people to have dinner. However, there are larger tables for bigger parties.
