Waited over an hour to be seated…even with reservations.. Service was horribly slow. IMO the beer is better here then from Lengthwise.
The cooks almost always never disappoint, I ordered a burger once and it was well done I asked for med. The parm crusted chicken is awesome! As well as the baked beignet! The servers tend to disappear :-/ yet it’s hard to find food that tastes this good in Bakersfield.

Hoppin’ place with great brews. THIS place has atmosphere…a rarity in Bakersfield. The food is great, and the service is pretty good, not excellent. The servers are sometimes too busy to pay much attention to the needs of each table, and so you do end up a little neglected, and they often forget special requests. But the pizza and salads are great! I think this is a fun restaurant. If you know when to get there, the line to get in is not that bad, but it is really hard to avoid a wait on the weekends, so we never even try to do that.
Good food &service, not great, but consistently good
Pizza and so much more. BJ’s is definitely about the pizzas but it offers much more. Their menu has a variety of foods. Their blackened chicken is awesome. Their avocado rolls are amazing. I love them. If you love Chicago style pizza this is the place for you. The price is reasonable. The atmosphere is very upbeat and sports barish. The service is always good. And if you ever have a problem talk to a manager and they will make sure you leave happy. It’s all about customer service at BJ’s.
