The food here is pretty stellar, the margaritas too. The first time I had the carnitas, good but not great by its self but with the addition of the jalapeno they were transformed, warm corn tortilla and a little salsa made for some greatness. The second time I had the sizzling enchiladas 1, shredded chicken, 1 shredded beef, 1 chile verde. 3 great flavors so you don’t have to choose. set on sauteed bell peppers and onions. Only one thing could have made them better (for me) if there was some julienne jalapeno in the mix. This place isn’t your typical Mexican restaurant, perhaps its the best in Bakersfield. My 1/2 point knock off is the parking it sucks.

Not your everyday Mexican food restaurant. A very unique twist to homemade Mexican dishes with a culinary flare that work! All recipes are original either from the owner’s mother or traditional. Service is great. Ask about Mariachi night.
