Delicious. Yellow curry and drunken noodles still my favorite
I love the Noodle bar. My fav! Food is amazing and I love the atmosphere!
Rude Customer Service. Last evening I called at 7:15pm to make a reservation for 8pm and was told that they would put us down for two for a reservation at 8pm. They took my name and cell #. When we arrived at 7:50pm, we were told by Tamara at the front counter, that they would not honor our reservation and that we would have to put our name on a list to wait at least 35 minutes for a table like everyone else. If they had no intention of honoring our reservation, why did they take our request for a reservation over the phone??? This is extremely poor customer service and the person at the front counter (Tamara) could not have been more rude. This was not our first visit to Chef’s Choice Noodle Bar. In the past the service was less than desireable at times, but the food was usually good. I would not order the mango and sticky rice for dessert. I have ordered this twice and each time was very dissapointed (the sticky rice did not seem at all fresh). Wonder if the owner, Dr. Hansa, knows that he has such rude people greating and turning away his customers??? We will not return to this restuarant, why would we subject ourselves to his treatment again?
Fresh Noodles. Had the pork chow mien, outstanding. The table behind us just couldn’t stop going on about the fried rice.Having fried rice next time.
Ok restaurant. I’ve had some dishes that are fairly good but I had lunch last week that was so salty that the dish was inedible. I mentioned it to the boss and she only replied that she hoped I would be back. She pointedly did not offer to make a correction. Not good. If I go back, I will make a strong point of complaint if I have one–just to make sure I am being understood. She should have gone immediately to the kitchen, tested the dish, and chewed out the cook.
Started the evening with Chicken Empanadas and they were amazing. The sauce was sweet with a mini kick, similar to Panda Express’ orange chicken. I had the Roasted Duck Over White Rice, it was simply amazing. The sauce that came with the dish was a spicy salty sweet concoction that my taste buds enjoyed. my wife had the Mongolian beef, it came with noodles and was not the gem of the evening. Had the texture of a cheap progressi but the flavor of a mediocre Chinese fast food joint. The duck made up for the MB downfall.
Food not very authentic. Waiter rude and got our order wrong. Acted like it was inconvenience to serve us and got our order wrong. No apologies offered. Wont be going back.
