Hate this ice cream not smooth at all not worth the money. Horrible customer service i asked for my ice cream to go when she gave it to me in a glass and they gave me a ratchet cup to put it in. Im upset i wasted my $9 in this crappy ice cream do yourself a favorite and visit cold stone which has better customer service then this horrible places. They dont even have to go spoons so i had to take their silverware. This ice cream is not worth all the talk.
The Best. The original location is the best! Atmosphere, memories and terrific Black and White Sundaes!! Taste is the same as fifty years ago! When my grandaughter and I visit California….Dewars is a must! On our arrival date it is one visit for lunch and one for dinner! And another visit before we leave Bakesfield!! For us, it’s a vacation must!! Followed by an in n out burger!! Can’t have much more young fun than that!!!
Great atmosphere, delicious ice cream, yummy candy, worth the wait. Walking in is like taking a step back in time & into the American ideal small town ice cream parlor!
I think the place I high price, and the ice cream is so-so but my wife thinks it’s the best place on earth. I personally think Thrifty’s ice cream is better.

Good Stuff. I love taking my family here. My wife and kids are Ice Cream fiends and Dewars always hits the spot.
