I am not a follower of barbecue but that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t a fan of the flavor. The sandwich I had was very tasty. Good quality of meat and it was not sloppy or over cooked. I would definitely get another one.
Simple and excellent. I had the two meat, sliced brisket and sausage with the okra and saladwhich were excellent. My daughter had the three meat chicken, brisket, and turkey with creamy cole slaw and mac and cheese which were simple adn excellent. The enjoyment of the meal was the newness of the menu the freshness of the food, the quickness of the staff to put it together. I was sfartled at the price and Amanda the cashier noticed it and quickly gave me a definitely deserved senior discount which brought the price down to near what I was expecting.I did my call in order from themenu and prices at Dickeys.com where someone has not updated the cost of the meals.Thank you for such a wonderful meal.
Plain. If I wanted normal spiral ham I could make it myself with more flavor. The beef was also plain and a little over cooked. The chicken was ok. Had more flavor than the otger two meats I tried. It was pretty dry though. The fried onioms were ok. Nothing special. I have to say the fried okra was the best part of the meal. I’m pretty disappointed.
These guys have it down. Since my last review I eat here about 3 times a month and it keeps getting better, speed of service is better, more consistent, if your lucky enough to be there when the ribs are coming out of the smoker its like winning the lottery.02 Jul, 2013The food is good, its a new place so its still in the learning curve. Give it time. The new owners are eager to make a sincere go of it. If your in a hurry I suggest calling your order in for pick up. They also deliver. I plan on using them a lot for business lunches. I’m not one to endorse chain restaurants but I can with this place.
