Overall, a decent place. The atmosphere is great, although it can get a little loud. The food is priced well, in my opinion, but the beer is overpriced. As for quality, it’s mixed. They have a wide variety of burgers. How you offer your burger done seems to be irrelevant. I’ve ordered mine medium twice, and it’s come out barely medium rare. My friend also ordered his medium, and it was medium well. The fries are good, but they’re so small you have no choice but to eat them with a fork. Fries are finger food! Overall, for Bakersfield, it’s a pretty good place. I’ll keep going back.
Great burger joint, I have been a few times and enjoyed each visit as far as ths food is concerned.. Also I love the fact that they support microbreweries and micro distilleries.. Great ales, haven’t had the whiskeys yet.. On the negative side first time I went I had great service and expected to have the same quality service the next time.. Not the case had to ask for refills and was left alone the whole night except for dealing with the check.. Made me.very upset to have that happen
Love the sweet potAtoe fries drizzled with honey! Had fig marmalade, bleu, cowboy, and eureka burger so far. Love them all. Fig marmalade substitue goat cheese with bleu is my fav! Still want to try more! Best burgers in town. FYI all beer and liquor are all American made so no imports here!
Finally ate here won’t be back. Beet burger tepid/cold and mushy not crisp at all. Cycled here with a group of pub 15 around 7pm. place was full so ate and at Chipolte next door. No reservations taken so they lost out on a group who would have visited repeatedly and bought a lot of food and alcohol.28 Apr, 2012Finally made it in. But got super discouraged. 1st too beer selections were out. So settled for cider since I know no one here would be drinking it.22 Apr, 2012Rude & stupid! Sign outside about men thinking about women & beer put me off. Then I got inside and the hostess counter had four servers doing nothing but getting people’s phone numbers. I asked to sit outside which was empty. I was told only in the sun. I pointed out a table and was told they would have to text those in front of me to see if they changed their minds about sitting out there. What? I left without ordering.

Finally, a place with great beer and great food! Had the Schrimshaw Pilsner the chicken nachos and he best fish tacos I have ever tasted!
They went out and hired some of the dumbest young girls with Zero experience, so you really have to be patient!
