Another great place for lunch, the service here is always friendly, more than likely you’ll be waited on by one of the owners. The food is better than most of the Italian restaurants in Bakersfield and a reasonable price.
We eat here regularly. It’s my husband’s favorite. I love the halibut. It is served with a lemon caper sauce and pasta with grillled squash on the side. The chicken picatta is the best in Bakersfield. Prepared with pepperoncinis and very flavorful. I could go on, but just try it

Just had to write a review after going there a second time so everyone knows how great this place is. The outcome of both visits were the same; coming away feeling pampered by the service, satisfied by all the wonderful flavors and HUGE portions. So I guess you can say this place is consistent. They started us off with Italian bread which is made on-site by the chef (I asked since I could taste how fresh), with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip, it was a perfect complimentary starter. Then we had the calamari which was light, not oily, and perfect with the marinate that it’s served with. I had the Chicken Marsala and Ribeye Steak during my visits and both were the best I have ever had. Chicken Marsala is my go to dish at Italian restaurants so I have had many to compare to. A good balance of the Marsala wine, mushrooms andlighy creaminess of the butter. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly to order and also were topped with some garlic mushrooms. At many restaurants I often use steak sauce or au jus because they are missing something, but in this case I devoured it the way it was. I think the mushrooms and their garlic goodness really complimented the steak. Both dishes were served with a healthy portion of pasta with marinara and sauteed mixed veggies. Like I said, an all in all great restaurant experience. I would highly recommend this place.
