I used to like this place but tonight the spicy tuna was a really odd consistency, like maybe it was old. I hate that the ends of the rolls are always huge pieces that you could never eat in one bite. The service is downright annoying. The watch you like vultures and snatch everything away before you can even finish chewing. There are much better sushi places in town with better quality fish and service. I do not love Love Sushi.
I was not impressed by the sushi, but service was great. Fried ice cream dessert is AMAZING. Would revisit for dessert.
Not impressed. First off the soy sauce on the tables were watered down. The 4 rolls we ordered were topped with the same brown sauce and were oversized as if they were doing us a favor… but I’m not a fan of filling a roll with extra rice and fake crab to try and makes us feel as though we were getting a deal. I guess there are lots of people who like that… but if you are looking for quality over quantity, this is not the place to go.
My wife and I have enjoyed the food in the past. During our last visit we had issues with the service. Food was prepared and delivered promptly. Waitress brought check and seemed in a hurry to get us out the door! She repeatedly came to our table to check for our payment. The restaurant wasn’t crowded and others were not treated this way. Made an otherwise great experience an unpleasant one.
Loveless. It’s ok for sushi. If your into HUGE semi flavorless rolls this is your place. It’s always packed and slow on the service side. But it is semi cheap…I guess you get what you pay for. Sad part is I was spoiled with all of the great sushi places down in LA.
What’s to Love?. SERVICE – Being used to good service at other sushi restaurants around town, I was appalled at the ridiculously poor service at Love Sushi. Our server was brand new, so she gets a break. We had to ask for water 4 TIMES from 3 different people before someone even brought it – and then they only brought two instead of the four we asked for. After the meal it took at least 20 minutes for them to get us our check. Total crap! I used to be a server; I know what good service is; Love Sushi gets zero stars for their level of service/professionalism. FOOD – The sushi here is mediocre at best. Some of the rolls are quite inexpensive, and you’ll see why when they’re brought to the table. Poor quality fish, poorly wrapped rolls, poor experience overall. My girlfriend ordered a side salad that was so drenched in some pink, yogurt-like dressing that the lettuce was limp by the time she got it. If you love sushi, don’t ruin your taste buds with Love Sushi.
So far…. We’ve been back many times, it’s been good each time and consistent.
