Outstanding and obviously worth the wait

Great place with great food (the prime rib on Tuesdays is outstanding). If you can get past the spoiled, rude rich kids that overrun the place it’s definitely worth a visit. The NY steak on Fridays and Saturdays is excellent. One of the few bars in town that sells Peroni.
Love this place… Luigis atmosphere is 2nd to none!! I live in OK now, but the very first thing I do when visiting Bakersfield is go straight to Luigis!
Luigi’s: An ‘Old Bakersfield’ favorite. The menu and atmosphere at Luigi’s can’t be beat. This Bakersfield institution will be celebrating its 100th anniversary in October 2010. There is a reason it has been around for 100 years. It’s GREAT!
