Best value in town for simple sushi and teriyaki chicken. Won’t be the best you’ve ever had, but it’s real food, and better than a lot of sit-down sushi places in town. I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and courteous. Gave a 5 rating because of the bad review that was just a reviewer throwing a fit because the register broke and they lost her receipt. Would probably give a solid 4 for Bakersfield eating

Decided to go here after reading all the great reviews. I was very disappointed when I got there and they offered only 6 different sushi rolls. So we ordered a few… after waiting 20 minutes I went back up to the counter and asked if there was an issue… seeing how we were the only patrons in there… it should not have taken so long… cashier actually had the nerve to ask me for my receipt to prove that I ordered anything… I had to remind her that her machine ran out of paper and he never provided me with a receipt. Seriously? After she found the order I said forget it and to refund my money. No apologies. All attitude. Service: zero Food: unknown, but there is a very limited menu

Miyosh is in a fast food setting next to a pizza-by-the-slice place and a Chinese slop-in-a-bowl place but it is NOT fast food. Owned by the same family as Tokyo Garden on Ming Avenue and Miyoshi on Stockdale Highway, Miyosh serves some GREAT sushi.

The food here was good and reasonably priced for the different combos. I like the modern look inside. Try one of the aloe drinks they serve.

Best restaurant at the marketplace.. I’m really impressed at the looks of the place. They put a lot into it; really clean looking, great decor, and flat plannel tvs behind counter as menus. The seating is simple but comfortable. I could see this as a national chain. The menu is kind of express style with nice bento box options. They still have a lot off sushi and hot items. I really enjoyed my food but I would suggest the rolls not the nagiri or sashimi because I didn’t really care for their fish on its own. They do not carry alcoholic drinks. The employees were nice and helpful explaining the bento options and easily split our bill. The food took a while and they waited to bring our soup(I ordered salad though but oh well) with the rest of the food. This is def my go to spot at the market place now.
