This was our second visit to this restaurant . We go there when the kick off party is on for the Bakersfield drags.Great service and our server was just fabulous . After chatting with her we learn she has family in Australia and loves Tim tams ! We arrange to leave her a care package which she is over joyed about !! Food was delicious . Portions are generous and if you love BBQ this is a good place to go. You can see them cooking the meat whilst waiting . Cold beer was served which was great ! If you are looking for good value this is a worthwhile stop !
The food was horrible. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato… How does one mess that up? The pulle pork tasted like canned meat, the sweet potato is not a traditional sweet potato, and the cole slaw looks like barf and tastes like mayo/pickles from two days ago. My friend ordered a rare steak… It was cooked medium and completely surrounded by grissel. I was disgusted by the whole experience… But I will say our server was quick, efficient and perceptive. She came right to the table and asked if everything was okay because we didn’t look happy. I explained our lack of satisfaction. All she did was nod her head understandingly and said I will be right back. She came back and said our meal had been taken care of and apologized for the poor experience. it’s not everyday you find an above average server in a below average restaurant that still managed to retain qualities of a good server. The food sucked… But the server we had handled everything very well.
I love this place… Thr rolls are so gooood and their salad is amazing, always very cold and fresh. Their Texas egg rolls and wings are amazing…their baked potatoes and strawberry lemonade are so delicious.. I could eat there very day but its a bit pricy.. I would definetley recommend to anyone…
Favorite place to eat! The bread and butter is amazing, salads are very refreshing and Texas eggrolls are to die for. My boyfriend and I are regulars. Great atmosphere and nice workers. I can’t say enough great things about this place.
Crap. Dry meat, horrible service, and super plain tasting food.
Waited waaaay too long. Waited an hour yo sit down. They lied and said they called me. I sat there and watched them. They did not call me. Waited another hour for food. When we did sit down there were tons of empty tables. Please do not waste your time.
