  An honest review. I have been looking for a place with good sandwiches all over Bakersfield and found this place online. I could hard wait to check it out and was SOO hungry! I ran down there, found the place and saw that it wasn’t much to look at, but looks aren’t everything, so I tried it. They had many type of sandwiches there and I do not remember which one I got. I even got a specific style that I though was cool. (It’s really just seasonings that they had.) I watched them put it together and noticed the bread the were using was from the dollar store. I was shocked at this point. The guy put a ton of lettuce on there and a tiny slice of tomato. The seasonings was salt and pepper and when it was finally ready (After about 15 minutes) I looked at it and saw I had just paid 8 bucks for a very poor quality sandwich. The meat was just a cheap bologna type from the dollar store and I took a bite and gagged. It was worth about 37 cents. I feed the homeless and would never find it in my heart to give them this crap. This place is really bad with bad customer service. But if you want to try it, nobody is stopping you..

  Microwave. Okay, I have not written this place completely off yet but My first visit was not grand.I’ll start off with the good. I like the style of the place, very nice, clean, and comfy. I really liked the pasta salad. It had big chunks of salami and the dressing tasted good.The bad. I ordered the hot pastrami. It was smaller than i expected and not nearly filled with as much meat as i had hoped. The big turn off for me was when I saw them pulling my whole sandwich out of the microwave. Come on I had the impression this was a place that would do things right. It’s bad enough using the microwave to heat the pastrami and cheese but with the bun and all it made it taste like I got it out of a vending machine.also, this place tries to nickle and dime you. It’s 50 cents for a soda refill(soda machine is on customers side) and 35 cents for Peperoncinis. The specials are well priced but if you stray from them you will pay for it.a lot of the stuff looked good and I want to go back to try to see what they do better than the pastrami, maybe the meatball sub or the lasagna?

  Sarducci’s Italian Deli is delicious. Their employees are extremely friendly and they have a great selection of sandwiches. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. And if it’s a nice day out you should enjoy your meal on their outside patio.
