Amazing service and ordered the chicken artichoke pasta with a salad and was amazing. Waitress all swung by to check on us and my drink never went empty and their Italian dressing is amazing and the bread they give in the beginning is so warm and fluffy this was my second time here and defiantly will continue to be coming back.
It had been a long week at work an even longer Saturday dealing with a friends domestic issue that I was looking forward to Sunday and spending time with my two adult children. We had plan to go to the movies. and we did. We say Spy with Melissa McCarthy and It was funny and a nice break and I thought that was the end of the day you know kids and all, never having much money. but what a wonderful surprise! They said We have 6:30 reservations for dinner at Sorella’s so we went to one of mine and my wife favorite restaurants, I haven’t been their in months every since my wife passed. It was nice to be in such a family atmosphere. The server was very friendly and even the busboy made sure our drinks never got empty. I ordered the steak and Shrimp Scampi with salad and I must say this is one of the best steaks in Bakersfield. They are not afraid to put some seasoning on their steaks and it is full of flavor and very tender. The shrimp scampi is also really good. I think what I like about the Shrimp Scampi is the fact that they use really big shrimp, not those little bitty shrimp most places use to try to save money. I will defiantly try to make it back more often!

This is a great Italian restaurant. We even have them cater our Christmas party! Great food, good people.
After a weekend of traveling I came home to my family and we decided on Italian food. After much debate, since we have had bad luck at Sorella’s, I called in our order and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I left, with children in tow, and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for our dinner. I was about to check the order but hunger won out over common sense. Got it all home to find 2 of the 6 dinners wrong. When I called, they said I could bring it back. I asked if something else could be done since I was already home and already had to wait? I now have 2 a la carte items waiting. Now I have to decide should I really take a chance.
Love the New York steak here, it’s the best…really. Also the chicken artichoke penne, and the spicy vodka shrimp ate all amazing!
