I’ll buy you some seasonings. Ive been in twice, the first time was for a drink and appetizer. I had the escargot. It was more like those packing peanuts in a pool of oil, not butter but oil. There was nothing to it flavor wise. I make it a point unless something is really really off to give a place a second chance. I did. Second attempt, I was in on a date and we had later reservations. the place was a little crowded but we were seated with in five minutes. My date and I are in are miid 40’s and were the youngest in the room by 30 years at least. I’m looking around to see if I can find an AED just in case one of the people go down. The music was some guy on the a keyboard in the corner doing covers of bad songs way too loud. Circa the Wedding Singer. Looking over the menu I again ordered the escargot, same thing. BLAND BLAND BLAND and oily. My steak was cooked perfect but again no seasoning at all, so what a waste, The plates were so small and crowded that they looked like they had been assembled in a high school cafeteria chow line or your fat uncle on thanksgiving, The sauces that came on the side, smacked of pre-packaged demi-glace. So far the one redeeming value to this place is its wine list. A side note, if your there on a weekend the restaurant closes and they change the music in the bar to some obnoxious stuff and some of Bakersfield s finest Jersey Shore wanna bees come in. So if your there to enjoy a quiet evening with your date find someplace else to go
