Incredible!!!!!!!!!. An absolutely amazing place. I have only recently discovered Cafe Lotus but I am addicted. The food is so fresh and delicious, and the owner/chef is a delight. She brings out various snacks that she is working on in the kitchen that day – today she brought out tofu (we’re vegetarian) and later brought out muffins. They have extensive off-menu vegetarian dishes. It’s nice to discover a place like this in Newport, where the restaurants are overpriced and lacking any character.
Learned about this place from a friend, who brought some veggie spring rolls for us to try. They tasted unlike anything I’ve ever eaten – in a good way! Needless to say, I became an instant regular customer after that. You have to taste the food here and you’ll know what I mean – it’s that good. And no – I don’t work there 🙂
