Been to ML many times when I’m in town but the recent visit for breakfast was very disappointing. the service was awful…our waitress was more attentive to her boyfriend who was a couple of tables over. she neglected to bring requested items and both of our orders were missing ingredients. perhaps she mistakenly assumed that women are bad tippers and therefore didn’t warrant attentive service…we felt like we were inconveniencing her by taking her away from her boyfriend. if that was the case, we fulfilled her expectations and reciprocated by not leaving her a tip. Oh, yeah…the eggs way over cooked, dry and tasteless (perhaps due to missing ingredients??)
32oz. Schooners and Chargers, nuff said. Mutts is my favorite spot for watching football as it is a HUGE San Diego Charger bar, even blaring San Diego Super Chargers during commercials. You cant miss ordering a 32oz. schooner (goblet) of one of their 40 beers on tap while watching a game on one of their 20+ HDTVs. Mutts is literally right on the boardwalk and a stones throw from the water, so the view doesnt exactly suck. This place is extremely crowded on weekends so get there early. Also, be patient for a spot to open up and be careful not to bump into a roided IE douche wearing a Tapout shirt who is seeking refuge from the blistering heat in that patch of dirt 40 miles east of Orange County. youbooze.com
Awesome place for breakfast lunch dinner or drinks….had the deli meats omelette…it was great!! Also a giant! Mimosa for $15 …felt like splurging and glad we did! Great music playing, and sea breeze blowing in. Will be back!!
Mutts has amazing breakfast. The big A burrito is simple amazing and huge. We go there every Sunday for breakfast. Tuesdays are also amazing since it’s buy one med pizza get one free!!! The BBQ chicken is my favorite. Try it you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.
Great place to enjoy a refreshment of choice…in my case a Guinness. Great music, great pub comfort food I tried mutts pterodactyl wings and they hit the spot! I will probably be crop dusting on the red eye back to ATL tonight
It ain’t about the food! One of the best places for a cold beer in CA. And the breakfast ain’t half bad.
Great location. Great beer selection. Decent music. But bland bland food. Tried nachos, rings, burger. All just run of the mill. Don’t go for the food.
