Classic bistro. You’ll find all the classics you expect from a French Bistro here – steak frites, moules & frites, trout amandine and on and on. Our group of eight was handled professionally and promptly by the small staff. Not an easy task I’m sure. One of the centerpieces of their menu is mussels, available in a number of treatments. I can see why. The mussels were without doubt the best i have had in at least 25 years – plump, sweet, grit free. The portion was huge and the Provencal broth required a second basket of bread to enjoy all it’s goodness. The duck and escargot were also spot on. Everyone else in our party were quite pleased with the whole experience. The bistro has a real homey, family feel to it and it is clear that regulars are part of that family. This is the kind of caring family business one should support.
